The design utilizes a simple, illustrative style. “Innovate”, the poster’s headline serves as a call to action so the viewers feel inclined to jump into research and discover something new. Futura was chosen for the text to align with Chapman’s current branding and serve as a weighted and strong typeface to create balance and ensure reliability in the information. A complementary color palette was chosen to create a strong contrast. Blue shades are often associated with wisdom, depth, and intelligence, while orange represents energy, movement, and adventure, highlighting Chapman’s exciting future in the research field.
